Orianna Orsi, 27 years old. Born in San Francisco, grew up in Marin County and have been physically active my entire life.
Being active meant, playing soccer, dodge ball, indoor hockey through out elementary school and at one point being the only female wrestler on the Varsity squad in High School. You are probably wondering how I got started in wrestlingâ€¦ Well let me tell you, it all started my freshman year in when a senior boy (who I hope reads this article) said that a female couldnâ€™t last an hour of training with the team. You know what I told him, â€œI bet you I can!â€ This is where all my physical and mental challenges began as an athlete. First thing I had to do was to believe in myself that I can do it, 2nd was the will power to continue to get stronger and become more powerful to wrestle against these guys. In the beginning it was difficult, the guys on the team would threaten that they were going to shave my hair if I stayed on the team, lock me out of the training room, wouldnâ€™t work with me on training techniques and when they did they would ruff me up on purpose in attempt to break me so Iâ€™d quit. Guess whatâ€¦ It didnâ€™t work! All this was like throwing gasoline on fire. It intensified my inner strengths to make me stronger to fight harder, to push longer and to prove to these â€œboysâ€ that I am about to win a bet! The day I felt a grain of respect was the day of my first match when I won! I beat a boy at his school against his fans and against my own team who never believed in me & conquered. I will never forget after that match one of my team mates patted me on the back and said â€œNow youâ€™re a true wrestlerâ€.
Now, 10 years later, I still continue to challenge myself in physical fitness, nutrition and competitions. I have now been competing in fitness bikini competitions for the past 2 years and canâ€™t tell you how much I love every aspect of the sport! This year alone I have placed 1st place 2X and placed 2nd in my most recent show making me eligible to compete in National shows. In order for me to continue to compete and win I have to train hard, eat clean & take all the proper supplements.

Starts 12-16 weeks before contest
Meal 1: Max muscle protein shake + 1 tbsp almond butter â€“ pre workout
Meal 2: 1/2cup oatmeal + 5 egg whites
Meal 3: 4oz steak+ 1/2 sweet potato + 2 cup of veggies
Meal 4: large salad with 4oz chicken, 1oz avocado & balsamic vinegar
Meal 5: 5oz Tilapia + 12 asparagus
Meal 6: Max Muscle Fudge Brownie protein shake for sweet tooth at night
PRE- CONTEST WORKOUT

1 hour weight training 5x week 30 minute cardio 4x a week.
Saturday Sunday off day will enjoy the outdoors with a Hike, bike ride or running the stairs

At the end of the day many people ask me how and why I do it. Thereâ€™s so many reasonâ€™s why I do it. I believe if I can make a change for the better with in myself, maybe I can spark one brain to motivate and encourage one person to live life to the fullest of health and longevity. Maybe I canâ€™t change the world but if I can change one personâ€™s life I know I have done something good today. Thereâ€™s no other feeling of highness when Iâ€™m on that stage, weather I win or lose, with all the hard work I put my body threw and mental frustration to keep pushing harder everyday, I will always be a winner. It doesnâ€™t matter what you choose in life or how you do it, what matters is that you donâ€™t dream . . .you have it live it!
