When we walked into Max Muscle in August, we were both frustrated. We had been working out for some time, both cardio and weights, and eating well (or so we thought). Initially we had lost some weight and gained strength, but the improvements had ceased. We both wanted to lose more weight, but it wasn’t happening.

At Max Muscle we talked to a Certified Nutrition Coach and he suggested a nutrition plan.  He told us, ‘Follow the nutrition plan and you will cut fat. It’s that easy.’ We were already exercising and eating well, how could a nutrition plan make it that easy? We decided, what the heck, we are going to be eating for the next eight weeks anyway, we may as well make the effort, follow the plan, and see what happens.

Needless to say, he was correct. We thought we were eating well previously. As we learned, we weren’t. Was it really easy? Yes and no. It definitely takes more time and effort planning meals ahead, preparing food for the week, packaging three meals a day for each of us to take to work and taking the Core 4 (in our case High 5 Protein, Glutamatrix, Vitacell, and EFA). It is also not always easy to resist the temptation of tasty fast food or free donuts at work, but seeing the progress both in the mirror and on the scale feels great and helps keeps us on track.

We have now completed our second nutrition plan, and we have each now lost about 30 pounds of fat. People ask us all the time, ‘How did you do it?’ ‘Easy, just get your nutrition under control. Go talk to Max Muscle, they can get you on the right track.’ Unfortunately, there is no magic bullet for fat loss. Max Muscle has supplements and the nutrition plans that can help you succeed, but it takes time, effort, and commitment. You can do it!
